Composing himself, Jonathan walked to where he was certain he'd parked. Doubting himself, he took a quick lap around the lot to find his car. It couldn't have been towed. He'd parked it right here, legally. Returning to the first spot, he found a single clue. The forest, usually a sanctuary, now held secrets that would challenge Jonathan's understanding of wildlife and reveal a mystery far beyond a simple rescue mission.
