Jonathan was resolute in his mission to locate the lost puppy. With the plaintive cries guiding him, he moved through the forest with deliberate, gentle steps. At one point, the cries ceased, and fear gripped him that he'd ventured too far. Backtracking, he listened intently until the faint, pitiful sound resumed.
